Valentino Spring 2014 Haute Couture 

From Paris to Rome…

Following the footsteps of Dior and Chanel, Valentino has announced that it will not be showing its Haute Couture show next July in its regular home in Paris, but will present its couture collection in Rome.

The AW15 Haute Couture show will take place in the Italian capital on July 10 in celebration of the opening of its new flagship in the city’s Piazza Mignanelli, near where the House of Valentino’s headquarters is located.

Valentino will then resume its usual slot in Paris, showing its SS16 Couture collection back in the French capital in January of the following year.  The brand is also planning an event in New York on December to mark the opening of its Fifth Avenue boutique where a special couture collection will be presented.

The Valentino New York Flagship Store is situated on Fifth Avenue in the former Takashimaya Department Store, designed by John Burgee and Philip Johnson.
