Black lace finale at VS Fashion Show London 2014
Victoria’s Secret is headed back to the States for its 2015 Fashion Show after just one runway season abroad.
New York is the hometown of the brand’s iconic runway shows, with 15 of their 19 years being hosted on home turf. So it’s no surprise that this year, for its twentieth birthday, the lingerie brand will be heading home.

“New York City was the site of the first ever Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 1995, and holds a special place in our history and our hearts,” CEO Sharen Jester Turney explained. “For this year’s show, our twentieth, we’re returning to where it all began.”

But while the location may be familiar, many of the faces won’t be. Earlier this year the brand announced that a roster of 10 new angels had been added to the original list of five (dropped from seven after Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes left the brand) including Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro and Romee Strijd. The new girls join established girls Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel.

With new Angels taking the catwalk and inevitably, some kind of Taylor Swift performance, (“Welcome to New York” just seems like the obvious choice here), I’m already looking forward to this year’s smooch-tastic show extravaganza.
