To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Calvin Klein’s Eternity fragrance franchise, the fashion house is rolling out some new ads starring Christy Turlington and her husband Ed Burns. Christy Turlington Burns is proving, once again, that the ’90s supers still have it—and more often than not do it better. She’s no stranger to the Calvin Klein brand; the 90s supermodel fronted the first Eternity campaign back in 1995 with Mark Vanderloo.
Setting for the scene Turlington describes how “in the beginning we were pretty giggly. And after the first day, [Ed] said to me, ‘I’m so glad you’re not doing this with somebody else.’ I said, ‘I wouldn’t be doing this with someone else.”
The campaign, debuting in June as part of a global launch for the limited edition Eternity Night, was shot on location on the beaches of Turks & Caicos, by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matatin (“probably the two photographers I’ve worked with most over the past 10 years,” said Turlington), and directed by Trey Laird of Laird + Partners in conjunction with Calvin Klein’s in-house ad agency and creative studio. Additionally, the American brand is announcing the launch of a global philanthropic platform, The Eternity Project—Turlington Burns’ charity Every Mother Counts will be the first recipient.
“I am so grateful for the support of Every Mother Counts and thrilled to be back representing this brand along with my husband. This is my new favorite Eternity Calvin Klein campaign of all time,” Turlington Burns explains.
So I’m looking forward to more to come, as Turlington Burns and Burns will also appear in campaigns for Eternity Night Calvin Klein, a new creamy floral fragrance, and Eternity Night Calvin Klein for men…

I think Christy Turlington is right for this advertising campaign starring face was always like, I do not understand how it is that no longer the image and instead put Doutzen Kross and not that Doutzen is not pretty, but advertising Eternity fragrance is not a matter of beauty but to convey an image of timeless family together and face it perfectly captures Christy.
Dear Marta,
I would like to thank you for your reflective comment: we got the same idea, this is why I think Christy is for Eternity, to me she’s the one and only face of this fragrance ’cause she capture the essence of it.
Thanx again!
