French fashion house Balmain just unveiled via instagram a new scent as a fashion expression of a modern man, energetic and creative cosmopolitan who combines classic with innovative pieces. Topmodels Eniko Mihalik and Edward Wilding make quite a steamy pair for Balmain Homme Fragrance’s campaign.
The new fragrance is announced as sensual, elegant and addictive and in fact the duo struck a sexy pose for the ad looked like a couple: Eniko dons a form-fitting dress with metallic detailing while Edward sports a jacket with jeans in the black and white snap.
Balmain Homme is an oriental – woody composition signed by perfumer Olivier Pescheux. The fragrance opens with metal freshness of bergamot combined with spices of nutmeg and saffron. Leather accord and violet leaf create a “forbidden fruit” scent that dominates the heart and gradually turns into the base of cedar, tonka and moss.
The bottle design reminiscent of the military jacket architecture signature to Balmain, with the details by creative director Olivier Rousteing and dark blue glass. The box incorporates details from Balmain’s most symbolic men’s fashion pieces.
