Burberry fall-winter 2015 campaign lensed by Mario Testino
For FW15 Campaign the British brand adds new members to its family: a 12-fresh faced cast of actors, musicians and models, notably with the addition of front man Tom Odell and Brit-rock royalty Ella Richards, daughter to Marlon Richards, son of Rolling Stones musician Keith Richards and Lucie de la Falaise (niece of the late Yves Saint-Laurent muse Lou Lou).

Shot by Mario Testino in London’s iconic St. James Street – which is not only a stones-throw from Savile Row but has its own sartorial heritage – the images take on an authentic 70s feel to match the romantic boho vibe of the print heavy collection. The imagery marries the motifs of paparazzi photos of the time, with nostalgic cinema style shots.
The brand continues its couples theme with British actors Harry Treadaway and Holliday Grainger plus Clara Paget and boyfriend Oscar Tuttiet featuring side-by-side.

Starring also rising stars Amber Anderson, Florence Kosky, Jackson Hale, Ranald Macdonald, Oliver Burslem and Oscar Robertson, the campaign is a celebration of “London’s great energy and its magnificent tradition”, according to Burberry CEO, Christopher Bailey.
In the ad, men sport top coats and Chesterfields in inky blacks and charcoal, paired with round-framed eyewear and Burberry fringed scarves in check cashmere. Women don pea coats in mirror embroidered fabrics, the iconic Burberry trench and ponchos in felted wool.
The full campaign will drop on July 1 but until then you can enjoy the video below directed by CEO Christopher Bailey: the Super 8 camera gives the campaign its authentic 70s throwback feeling in addition to the mod hairstyles and accessories worn by the male models. The video spot uses the song ‘Shadows’ by Claire Maguire whom also performed at the AW15 runway show.
