For the Pre Fall 15 season, iconic Italian fashion house – Valentino – debuts a new optical ad campaign shot by rising photography talent Michal Pudelka.
You may recall that Pudelka first collaborated with Valentino creative director duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli for Spring/Summer 15, shooting 20 mermaid-inspired images for the special campaign. Now the up-and-coming talent returns, this time to bring some quirky and rather optical illusions, giving the Pre Fall 15 visuals a mirror image vibe.
Shot in Bratislava (where Pudelka was born), the ads feature models Maartje Verhoef, Ine Neefs and Grace Hartzel, styled by Karl Templer. The ladies pose in the label’s colorful accessories and sweet, youthful dresses against a mirrored wall, making for a visually compelling — if not a little trippy — composition.
