Attending Milan Fashion Week for the first time, Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, sat front row at the Dsquared2 show on Wednesday. “Yesterday I did a photo shoot for Grazia. The mood was like here, Fifties,” said the blonde Los-Angeles based model, who paraded her voluptuous curves in a skin-tight black dress.
After hanging out with friends at London fashion week’s parties, British model and actress Suki Waterhouse also rounded out the front row notables, who included Leigh Lezark, Italian-British singer Anna Calvi and Hofit Golan.

GREENHOUSE EFFECT: With summerlike weather in Milan, guests at the Fendi show on Thursday struggled to keep on their jackets — not to mention layering on fur. Other guests included Fiona Scarry, Anna Calvi, Tallulah Harlech and Marisa Berenson, who came with her daughter Starlite.
Front Row at Max Mara, September 19th 2013
FAITH CONNECTION: Paloma Faith, who attended the Max Mara show Thursday morning, is heading to Japan with the Italian brand and is to perform at a fashion show it is staging at a sumo wrestling arena in Tokyo on Nov. 5. The English singer, who has been to the island nation but not its capital, is relishing the prospect of people watching. “I think the street fashion there is incredible. They know what they’re doing,” she enthused.
Front Row at Emporio Armani, September 20th 2013
I always look at the work of fashion designers as if they were art,” famed Indian music conductor Zubin Mehta said before the Emporio Armani show, his first ever. Mehta said he “would love” to work with Armani on costumes for an opera. “But we haven’t talked about it yet,” he was quick to point out. American singer Chrysta Bell had performed live at Milanese Teatro Parenti on Wednesday night. “It’s my first time in Milan,” she said. “This is the only time on tour with a few days off. It was a magical alignment.”

And backstage she noted that her 1979 hit, “I Will Survive,” has taken on a life of its own. OF HUMAN BONDAGE: Francesca Eastwood just turned 20 and is taking her first steps in the world of fashion. To wit: She attended the Salvatore Ferragamo show on Sunday. “You dress in the way that you want to be perceived. If you want to be taken seriously as an actress you’d better not wear bondage. If you are a pop star, it’s different,” said Eastwood, adding that she prefers “very simple, sophisticated, clean lines” for official events, versus “flannels and ripped jeans” when dressing down. Eastwood just wrapped filming “Jersey Boys,” directed by her father Clint Eastwood. Also Hofit Golan and Alice Eve attend the show.
Front Row at Giorgio Armani, September 23rd 2013
MILAN — Diego and Giorgio are at it again. On Monday, Giorgio Armani shot back at Tod’s chief Diego Della Valle, who over the weekend urged him to help support the restoration of Milan’s Castello Sforzesco. “I don’t need anyone telling me what I have to do. And I’ve always done what I wanted to do,” said Armani. “I’m perplexed. Why does he take the liberty to attack me a second time on private matters?” Later at Armani’s show, French swimmer Camille Lacourt said he is temporarily leaving his usual training base of Marseille in southern France for Melbourne in Australia, where he will spend the next few months preparing for the European Championships in 2014. “I wanted to see something new and experience a different culture,” he explained.
Chinese musician and former Miss World Zhang Zhilin said she walked for the designer’s Privé show seven years ago, a week after winning the beauty pageant. “It was a dream come true, such a big surprise,” she said.
