Gisele Bündchen for Balenciaga Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear
Gisele Bundchen rarely makes an appearance on the catwalk these days, so her presence in the show of Balenciaga back in February became a reason to think… And the Brazilian supermodel collects another ad campaign this season: she became the face of Balenciaga Fall 2014 collection shot by Steven Klein.
Want more Gisele? You have it ! This is in addition to her ads already for Chanel No. 5 Emilio Pucci, Isabel Marant and Stuart Weitzman this season. The first image from the campaign was revealed in WWD and Gisele seems to have had her typically long locks apparently cut cropped away and slicked, sporting thigh-high patent boots and an anxious frowning face reflected in cracked mirrors.
“This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising,” said Balenciaga artistic director Alexander Wang who earlier this month unveiled his first fragrance for the brand titled B Balenciaga.

“This season we worked with this idea of vanity, staged in a room filled with mirrors. But the cracked mirror is a continuing thread from the marble veins and creeping ivy leaves from seasons past.”
Balenciaga’s fall 2014 ad campaign is slated to appear in the September issue of various magazines, as well as online.
