Hot on the heels of her recent nuptials to Johannes Huebl, Olivia Palermo is now pairing up with another man: Aquazzura’s Edgardo Osorio. This Fall, the style icon will be adding another string to her sartorial bow as she launches a six piece shoe collection in collaboration with Florence-based label Aquazzura: this is going to be one seriously sexy shoe collection.

“Olivia basically has been our unofficial ambassador,” said Osorio. “She’s always wearing the shoes. We’re friends and we were talking more than a year ago about a small capsule that would be Olivia’s eye and aesthetic but with the Aquazzura style.”

Olivia believes that ‘every woman should own a perfect black pump, a go anywhere bootie, a simple strappy party sandal, sexy lace-up sandals and a statement boot that goes with everything’, and it looks like her collection has definitely got all those bases covered. As well as the stunning costume jewellery inspired stiletto, the collection includes over the knee boots, lace up gladiator sandals, suede and snake pumps, metallic leather sandals, and a suede boogie crafted from Aquazzura’s patented ultra soft cashmere leather.

The idea of this collaboration appeared long time ago. Reportedly, the stylish it-girl is very excited about the prospect of working with her good friend Edgardo. “I think it is no secret that I love a good shoe, so I very much enjoyed creating a ‘survival pack’ for every occasion and women of all ages,” said Olivia Palermo.

“Olivia and I have a very similar vision of shoes,” the creative director of Aquazzura, Edgardo Osorio said. “We wanted to create a capsule collection of the styles every woman needs in her closet, seen through the eyes of Olivia and interpreted with the Aquazzura aesthetic.”
