Here we are: what designers sent down the runways for Fall 2013? Pre-fall collections were the introduction and the shows confirm that: we will see plenty of candy-colored coats!

Black just doesn’t cut it on the coat front anymore. From Derek Lam to Giambattista Valli, designers whipped up coats in illuminating pastels like baby blue, buttercup yellow, lavander and power pink: it’s a rainbow of colors.

Whether pretty in pastels, borrowed from the boys, or befurred, coat are fashion’s must-have Fall accessory.
